Dirty Laundry

Dirty Laundry is a narrative game played from a first-person perspective. The player takes the role of Emily, who has money problems and starts working the night shift at a laundry. During her shifts she serves a series of odd customers, and one of them is set to change her life permanently. The story belongs to the horror-comedy genre and includes absurd events.

The developer describes the game as primarily a walking simulator. Play combines exploration of the laundry, conversations with customers and laundry tasks. The game includes mechanics for washing clothes, which form part of Emily’s work during the night shift.

The game is presented with an atmospheric environment and a PSX aesthetic, in reference to the look of early PlayStation-era titles. The Steam page also lists photo-realistic graphics among its key features.
