Dragon Dinner
Dragon Dinner is a fast-paced restaurant management game in which the player runs dragon restaurants while handling customers, orders and kitchen work at the same time. It combines time management with roguelike progression, and each day at the restaurant brings new challenges as pressure and complexity increase. The game has been released and currently has 9 user reviews on Steam.
Play centres on serving successive waves of dragon customers. Customers queue at the door, orders accumulate and the kitchen can fall behind, so the player has to prioritise tasks, multitask and react to problems before they escalate. Between and during runs, the player can hire employees, expand and decorate the restaurant, and adjust its layout to improve customer flow and service speed. The description states that small layout changes can produce measurable gains in efficiency.
The game includes four customisable restaurants, each with its own recipes, layouts and mechanics, and eight types of customisable dragons. Players can use a range of skills and equipment with multiple upgrade levels. Progression is skill-based and involves unlocking all restaurants, gaining abilities and modifiers, and improving scores and rewards, with a Legendary difficulty level as the final goal. Runs become harder over time, and the game is designed for repeated playthroughs.
