Dumb Ways to Build
Dumb Ways to Build is a physics-based co-op game set in Dumbville, part of the Dumb Ways to Die universe. Players take on the role of a construction crew working through hazardous jobs, using loose objects from the environment as building materials. It supports one to four players in online co-op, and a Solo Play mode is available for those who want to tackle the worksite on their own.
The core mechanics involve grabbing, rotating and throwing objects, then fastening them together with a nail gun to create bridges, ramps and other structures. Players have access to a tool belt of physics-based hardware, including items such as a sledgehammer, along with consumables that can either assist the crew or cause problems for them. Levels are structured as Crisis Jobs, each with its own hazards and challenges that require players to build their own platforms and find a way off the jobsite. Maps contain secrets, and completing them can unlock cosmetics and additional challenge modes.
The game includes proximity chat for coordinating with other players. Each player controls a Bean character, which can be customised with a range of unlockable cosmetics earned through play.
