Dupery: A Game of Solo Deduction
Dupery drops you into a noir city crawling with syndicate scum, and it’s your job to sort the innocent from the guilty using nothing but clues, logic and a healthy dose of paranoia. Every case is a grid of characters, some honest, some lying through their teeth, and you’ll need to cross-reference what they tell you before pinning anyone to your detective board. With over 200 handcrafted roles split across Innocent, Meddler, Underling and Traitor categories, you’ll never quite know who to trust.
Get it wrong and you’ll pay for it. Arrest an innocent and your reputation takes a hit, let it drop too far and you’re out of a job. Arrest every evil role in a case though and you’ll build your standing, unlock new missions and pick up quirks and modifiers to shape how future runs play out. It’s a constant balancing act between confidence and caution.
Dupery turns deduction into a proper roguelite loop, with three distinct campaigns each throwing new mechanics and roles into the mix, all building towards a final showdown with the syndicate’s mastermind. Procedurally generated cases mean no two runs feel the same, so you’ll be building strings, pins and theories right up until the very end.
