Elsewhere
Elsewhere is a sandbox crafting game that mixes survival, exploration, quests and magic into one huge progression system. You start out with basic tools and slowly work your way up, unlocking new tech and magic as you explore the world, complete quests and figure out how you want to play. Build a base, automate your resources, dig into alchemy, or just wander off and see what’s out there. There’s a lot of room to experiment and no single right way to do it.
The world is procedurally generated with dozens of biomes, ancient ruins, and huge castles and dungeons packed with monsters and bosses. With over 7,500 blocks, 6,000 recipes and 300 quests, there’s a genuinely staggering amount to dig through, whether you’re chasing tech progression, building automated factories, or just trying to survive the night. It’s clearly built with a lot of love for old-school Minecraft modpacks, and that nostalgia comes through in loads of little details and references throughout.
Elsewhere has been in development since 2012 and is still growing, with plans for NPCs, story content and expanded modding support down the line. It’s a big game that rewards curiosity and patience, and there’s already more than enough here to lose yourself in for a very long time.
