Flip & Shop Simulator: Prologue

Flip & Shop Simulator: Prologue is a cooperative city simulator in which players run businesses with friends. They can play together in one location or split across different businesses. The free prologue contains three businesses: a pizzeria, a liquor store and a mystical goods shop. Players can choose to coordinate during a shift or interfere with each other, for example by pushing one another.

Gameplay varies by business. In food service, players prepare dishes step by step by following recipes, assemble orders under time pressure and handle ingredients. In other roles, players check customers’ documents, identify fakes and decide whether to serve or refuse them. Some businesses also involve arranging items and organising space, either for efficiency or to create a chosen display. Players are not fixed to one role and can switch between tasks such as chef, cashier and document inspector.

The full game is described as including dozens of different businesses, such as pet shops that sell animals, restaurants and fast food outlets, and retail stores handling goods and orders. Progression involves buying new businesses, with the option to expand existing ones or start again from scratch, and players can work together or separately.
