Gallipoli

Gallipoli is a multiplayer first-person shooter set during World War 1, focusing on the Ottoman Fronts, including the beach landings at Gallipoli and the campaigns across Mesopotamia. Players take on the role of a regular soldier fighting for either the British or Ottoman Empire across a four-year historical campaign, with battles taking place on varied terrain such as coastal beaches, arid deserts and urban environments.

The game features one-shot-one-kill combat structured around objective-based battles for teams of up to 25 players per side. Players can choose from 10 specialised classes, each based on historical battlefield roles, including Officer, Heavy Machine Gunner, Sniper and Stretcher Bearer. Weapon handling is designed to be weighty and methodical, with reloading and aiming affected by suppression and familiarity with individual weapons. The game includes over 50 weapons and equipment items modelled on those used by the British and Ottoman Empires during the period.

Gallipoli supports crossplay between PC and consoles and includes AI-controlled bots that can join public and custom matches. It is part of the WW1 Game Series, which also includes Verdun, Tannenberg and Isonzo, each focused on a different front of the First World War.
