Goddess Must Survive!

Goddess Must Survive is a 2D isometric action roguelite developed by a third-party studio and set in the Weird West. Each run involves surviving continuous hordes of enemies and defeating the bosses that block the player’s progress.

The build system is limited to three slots: one Weapon, one Element and one Relic. Because the powers on offer are distributed by chance, the player is not guaranteed an ideal combination in any given run and must work with whatever is available. The game describes this as absorbing, combining and evolving powers, with the choice of holding on to an existing ability or trading it for a new one.

By reassembling the powers found during a run, the player forms a build of their own and progresses through the Weird West setting. The developer positions the game around this run-to-run variety, with each attempt producing a different combination of Weapon, Element and Relic.
