Granny – Welcome Home

Granny – Welcome Home is a horror escape game. The player takes the role of a police officer investigating the disappearance of a man named Victor. The search leads into the woods, where the officer is kidnapped by an old woman and held in her house. The player has five days to find a way out and to discover what happened to the people who lived there. Failing to escape may result in the player meeting the same fate as Victor.

To leave, the player must find several items hidden around the house and work out how to use them on the main door, which is secured with locks and planks. The house is also occupied by a dead grandmother who chases the player. She can hear the player’s footsteps and any items that are dropped, so the player needs to move and handle objects with care.

The game includes optional challenges for players who want a different experience. In One life, the player has only a single day to escape and cannot extend it. In No running, sprinting is not allowed for the whole game. In Granny can see you everywhere, the player has ten seconds before the grandmother begins a chase that does not end until the player is caught. In the final challenge, the player must escape in under four minutes, and the use of a timer is recommended.
