Spiritstead

Spiritstead drops you into a quiet, enchanted land where you’re in charge of building a village for your humans, with a little help from some magical spirits along the way. You’ll put villagers to work, build them homes, keep them happy with cafes and markets, and slowly turn a patch of land into the town of your dreams. It’s all wrapped up in a gorgeous handpainted art style that feels like it’s straight out of a Miyazaki film.

The spirits add a lot of character. You’ll meet loads of quirky little creatures as you explore, each one helping out in their own way once you build them a home. Collect them, look after them, and let them make managing your village that bit easier and a lot more charming.

There’s a creative mode if you just want to build without any pressure, or adventure mode if you fancy a proper challenge managing needs and expanding your territory. Either way it’s a gentle, easy going city builder, the kind of game you can sink into for an afternoon or come back to again and again.
