Coffee Raccoons

Coffee Raccoons places players in the role of a raccoon barista who manages an intergalactic café while also travelling to distant planets to collect rare ingredients. The café features a cozy, scrap-punk visual style, while the nightly expeditions take players across alien worlds with varied biomes, plants and creatures. The game can be played solo or in cooperative mode with another player.

During café sessions, players prepare drinks using ingredients such as alien beans and cosmic sweeteners, designing menus based on customer preferences and available resources. Some exotic ingredients cause unpredictable effects, including time warps or teleportation mishaps, which must be managed while fulfilling orders. Players also monitor a stress meter, which can be reduced by rummaging through trash.

On expeditions, players scavenge scrap from abandoned civilisations and manage an oxygen supply while exploring alien landscapes for ingredients. Earnings from the café and collected scrap can be used to unlock upgrades for brewing equipment, gathering gear and the player’s ship, allowing access to new areas, ingredients and challenges.
