I Need to Fix My Dream Car (But I Work at a Junkyard)

I Need to Fix My Dream Car (But I Work at a Junkyard) is a game set in a junkyard. The player breaks down piles of trash, scrap, broken machines and car parts, any of which may contain useful items, valuable items or unusual objects. Money earned from the work is used to buy missing parts and rebuild a rusty old car piece by piece.

Alongside the restoration project, the player completes orders from customers who arrive with unusual requests. These involve finding rare parts and preparing the customers’ cars in return for payment. Lost dogs can be found hiding around the junkyard. The player can rescue them, give them a home, and have them help with the work.

The game includes upgrades for tools and workflow, and the player can drive a forklift and use a magnetic crane to clear larger piles of junk more quickly. Lost collectible cards and other rare items are hidden deep in the trash. The game also includes music and the option to take breaks and spend time with the dogs.
