INDUSTRIA 2
INDUSTRIA 2 is a narrative-driven first-person shooter set as a sequel to INDUSTRIA. The story follows Nora, who finds herself pulled back into a parallel dimension controlled by the artificial intelligence ATLAS after attempting to return home to 1989 East Berlin. As she navigates this world, she is forced to confront her past involvement in the creation of the uncontrollable AI.
Gameplay is built around slow-paced, physics-based interaction, including crafting and a diegetic inventory system integrated into the game environment. Players can upgrade five weapons with attachments such as silencers, extended magazines and special attacks. Combat features robotic enemies with body horror elements, including visible machine oil and dismemberment during firefights.
The game is set across industrial decay, boreal natural landscapes and large-scale machine structures. It includes full voiceover, dynamic music and sound design implemented through Wwise with real-time audio reflection. Visuals are built using Unreal Engine 5, utilising the Lumen dynamic lighting system. The game offers a compact experience lasting approximately four to six hours, developed by a small indie team.
