Infinite Music Game

Infinite Music Game is a 3D rhythm game in which the environment reacts to the audio being played, with neon-styled worlds that change in real time in response to the beat. It can be played alone or with a second player in local co-op, where both players work through the same song and compete for high scores. The game has moved out of development and is now released on Steam.

Rather than relying solely on a fixed tracklist, the game allows players to load their own MP3 files or to capture live audio from the PC, with notes generated automatically from whatever is playing. There are multiple difficulty levels, described by the developer as ranging from relaxed play to more demanding score-focused runs, and two specialised modes: Guitar Mode, intended for rhythm guitar controllers, and Dance Mode, intended for dance pads.

The game also includes a range of gameplay and visual settings that can be adjusted to suit the player. Its presentation uses a retro-futuristic neon aesthetic, with the visuals varying from run to run as they respond to the audio.
