Iron Wasteland

Iron Wasteland is set in a world devastated by nuclear war, where civilisation has collapsed and the remaining survivors gather in settlements. The player takes on the role of one of the last hopes for their community, scavenging the ruins for resources, fighting hostile enemies and working to rebuild what has been lost.

The core of the game involves undertaking missions to secure supplies and eliminate threats. In addition to these missions, the settlement faces coordinated enemy attacks every six days, so players must prepare defences and stock up on weapons and ammunition before each assault arrives. Roaming merchants can be traded with to upgrade weapons and gear.

A train system allows travel across the wasteland to new locations, where hidden loot can be found and the player’s influence expanded. The game emphasises that individual decisions and missions carry consequences for the settlement’s survival.
