Populus Run

Populus Run is a runner game in which the player controls a whole crowd of runners rather than a single character. The aim of each level is to bring as many of the runners as possible to the finish line while avoiding giant fast food items, including burgers, donuts and supersized snacks, which try to crush the group.

Levels include sections where the crowd slides down twisting pipes, picking up speed and navigating turns in a manner the developer compares to a water park. The game also features boss encounters against rapping opponents, during which the run takes on a musical format and players must dodge attacks and keep moving in time with the beat. Each level has missions to complete, coins to collect and hidden routes to find.

Exploring these hidden routes unlocks a set of secret playable characters based on fruit and vegetables. The game has an original soundtrack that mixes choral singing and rap alongside the musical boss battles. A Hardcore Mode is also included for players seeking a greater challenge.
