JDM: Japanese Drift Master
JDM: Japanese Drift Master is an open world racing game inspired by Japanese street racing and drift culture. It is set in the fictional prefecture of Guntama, a landscape built from real Japanese locations, featuring over 250 km of roads including mountain passes, rural routes and city streets, along with traffic, dynamic weather and a day-night cycle. The game offers two driving models, Arcade and Simcade, which can be switched between at any time, catering to both newcomers and players seeking a more demanding drifting experience.
Players drive licensed cars from Nissan, Honda, Subaru and Mazda, with mechanical tuning options such as new parts, suspension, wheel camber and gear ratios, alongside visual customisation including body kits, lighting, paint colour and underglow. The story-driven campaign follows a foreign driver aiming to establish himself in the Japanese drifting scene, comprising more than 40 narrative events and sidequests, with story segments presented through hand-drawn manga pages.
The game includes original car audio recordings and in-game radio stations covering genres such as J-music, Phonk and Eurobeat. A multiplayer mode supports lobbies of up to eight players, allowing free roam, drifting and organised car meets within the Guntama world, with further game modes planned for future updates.
