Kaya’s Prophecy
Kaya’s Prophecy puts you in charge of a growing village, but running things is only half the job. You’re also juggling a deck of cards that decides how well you gather resources, craft new tools and expand your options, so every choice matters. On top of that, you’ve got a god to keep sweet, and he’s not shy about showing his displeasure if you forget his offerings.
Opening booster packs gets you resource and gathering cards to build your economy from the ground up. As you gain favour with your god you’ll unlock new tech and be able to combine resources into better materials and structures, so your village keeps growing in new directions. Keep the offerings coming and you’ll earn boons, but slack off and you might be dealing with lightning strikes, tornadoes or worse.
When you’re ready to push further, expeditions let you head into the wild to find new resources, though you’ll need solid deck-building skills to fight off the dangerous wildlife out there. It’s a lot to balance, adapting your strategy on the fly and making tough calls to keep your village alive. We reckon it’s a great pick if you like your village builders with a bit of card game strategy mixed in.
