Kitchen Gore

Kitchen Gore is a physics-based horror cooking simulator. Players cook a variety of ingredients using physics-driven mechanics, such as juggling items and flipping food to cook all sides, while managing the chaotic dynamics of the kitchen.

The gameplay centres on feeding a monster kept in a basement. Alongside cooking, players must periodically scroll a phone to keep the creature distracted, and if it becomes angry, playing a music box can calm it down. The game features a story mode that reveals details about the player character and their situation across each level, and a hardcore mode that introduces new content and re-contextualises the original narrative, ending with a different final scene. An endless survival mode is also included, testing the player’s endurance as pressure builds continuously.

The game is built around a tense and unnerving atmosphere that combines a creepy tone with occasional moments of humour. The developer recommends playing with headphones.
