Single-player Achievements Cloud Saves Family Sharing
A single-player café-management and automation game in which you program up to four robots to gather, cook, serve and clean while running a small neighbourhood café.

Byte Bistro is a single-player café-management and automation game presented in pixel art. The player inherits a small neighbourhood café from a character called Aunt Ada, along with a robot that has yet to receive its first instructions. From this starting point, the player builds the café into a working kitchen across a campaign of 24 services.

The core mechanic is visual programming. Robots follow programs that the player assembles, arranging actions to gather ingredients, cook, plate, serve and clean. Early programs are simple sequences, and as the game progresses the toolkit expands to include conditions, loops, variables and reusable functions. Up to four programmable robots can share a single kitchen, so each can be assigned a different job, and routines need adjusting when problems such as an empty shelf or a busy station interrupt the plan. Alongside the automation, the player manages the café itself: choosing the menu, setting prices, ordering supplies and investing earnings in equipment and upgrades. There are 30 recipes to unlock using 25 ingredients, and the player must also monitor waiting guests, dirty tables and shared cooking stations. Recipe-specific cooking and table-cleaning minigames let the player take on tasks directly while the robots continue with their own instructions.

After the campaign, an endless mode is available. A Desktop Companion option displays the café in a compact window, where the player’s robot programs continue to serve guests, use ingredients and earn money while the game remains open, although this does not advance campaign days. The game features an original soundtrack and offers English, Spanish, French and Simplified Chinese language options.
