Last Ascender is a 1st-person turn-based strategy RPG combining classic RPG progression with roguelike tension and deckbuilding depth. In a world shrouded in darkness, you must end this desperate journey using only your unique builds and strategic choices.

Last Ascender mixes turn-based strategy with roguelike tension and proper deckbuilding depth, all from a first-person view that makes combat feel way more immediate than your usual turn-based fare. You’re an Ascender, one of the last hopes against the Demon King, and every run means picking a class, learning its unique skills, and figuring out how you want to fight.

The real fun is in the relics. There’s over 100 of them to collect, and you can upgrade or combine them to build something properly powerful. No two runs feel the same because your build shapes everything, from how you approach fights to which enemies give you grief. And there’s plenty of grief to go around, since enemies pick up new tricks as the difficulty ramps up.

It’s in Early Access right now, with new characters, events and balance changes on the way. If you like your RPGs strategic and your roguelikes build-focused, this is worth keeping an eye on.
