Lawn Mowing Simulator 2

Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 is the sequel to Lawn Mowing Simulator and moves the series to a new setting in the USA. Players build a professional lawn care business across 11 locations, a larger number than the first game offered at launch, ranging from suburban lawns to commercial and municipal sites. Most locations have multiple contracts of differing size and theme, and the tasks extend beyond cutting grass to include leaf blowing and weed clearance.

The career mode has been reworked around a fully explorable 3D headquarters from which the business is managed, alongside expanded character customisation. Equipment is based on real-world machines from manufacturer partners Kubota, SCAG and STIGA, with the developer’s own Patterson and Knight brands also returning. The line-up covers mowers, string trimmers and, new to the series, leaf blowers, with further equipment planned for release after launch. A rake is also available for reaching leaves in awkward spots. Leaves and grass clippings are blown onto a tarpaulin, which is then emptied into a debris bag once full, and the game can handle tens of thousands of leaves moving at once.

Gardens can change between visits, so a returning customer’s property might gain new flower beds, an above ground pool or a flagpole, altering how a job is approached. The grass itself uses a system built from scratch for this game, with clearer visual differences between cut and uncut areas, more variation in uncut grass heights, and flowers and weeds forming part of the lawn.
