Life of a Thug

Life of a Thug is a crime simulation game set in Corrupticut City, a neon-lit urban environment populated by gangs, mob bosses and corrupt politicians. The player begins as a nobody on the streets and works towards becoming an underworld kingpin, progressing from petty crimes to large-scale mafia operations in order to climb the criminal hierarchy. Locations include bars, kebab shops and casinos.

Core activities include mugging people, making illegal deals, robbing stores at night and supplying the city’s illicit trade, all of which generate money for the player. A reputation system tracks the consequences of these actions. The game also presents the player with choices and moral dilemmas driven by the crime bosses who control the city, and the developer states that players must accept the consequences of the decisions they make.

A daily in-game newspaper directs the player towards robbery targets, stock market shares, shops and trade opportunities. The game is intended for adult audiences and contains depictions of crime, violence and strong language.
