Little Ghosties

Little Ghosties is an idle desktop companion game in which a collection of ghosts lives inside a terrarium window on the player’s desktop. The terrarium can be moved and resized anywhere on screen, and its menus hide when not in use, so the ghosts remain visible while the player works, studies or browses. Ghosts can be kept happy with food and toys, or left alone to nap and go about their own business.

Each ghost begins as an egg and hatches into a Wisp, then progresses through Juvenile and Fully Grown stages. Ghosts press an in-game button to generate Button Currency, which the player cannot press themselves; the happier the ghosts are, the more they earn. Button Currency is spent on food, toys and new terrariums. As ghosts grow they produce Ghost Slime, which the player gathers using a Hoover tool and exchanges for further eggs. A Sponge tool is used to clean ghosts that have become grubby.

The game includes common and rare ghost types, each with its own design, and unlockable terrariums intended to match the season or the player’s mood.
