Snoop through a missing teenage girl's old laptop and blog to uncover what really happened to her. Equal parts creepy mystery and painfully authentic 2000s internet nostalgia.

Lily’s world XD puts you in front of a stranger’s old laptop, and honestly it feels a bit wrong at first. You’re digging through her blog, her messages, her whole awkward teenage life online, trying to work out where she’s gone. The deeper you dig though, the clearer it gets that someone didn’t want her found, and now they know you’re looking too.

What we really love about this one is how it nails that early web era. Decoding cryptic blog posts, piecing together old friendships, that whole vibe of growing up lonely and online. It’s cringe in the best way, and it’s real cringe too, since the dev used actual photos of her and her mates as teenagers to build Lily’s world.

LilyPichu lends her voice to the game as well, which adds a proper personal touch to the whole thing. If you’re after a mystery that’s part investigation, part uncomfortable nostalgia trip, this one’s worth a look.
