Lost in Random: The Eternal Die

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is a stand-alone entry set in the world of Random. Players take the role of Queen Aleksandra, the former ruler of Random, on a quest for vengeance and redemption. The game combines real-time action with tactical decisions and dice-based mechanics, and features a fully voiced cast and multiple endings. It has passed 1,000 reviews on Steam.

Combat centres on four weapons, each with its own playstyle and upgrade path, alongside 15 card-based abilities and more than 100 elemental relics that can be combined to shape a build. Players can roll their die companion, Fortune, to alter the course of a fight, and can also take part in optional wager games where the outcome of a roll determines whether they receive a reward or a penalty. When the player dies, they return to the Sanctuary, a hub where new weapons can be unlocked, upgrades purchased and quests accepted from allies before starting another run.

The game is split across four randomly generated biomes containing secrets, hazards and challenges. It includes more than 30 enemy types and four world bosses. Encounters are randomly generated, relic combinations change from run to run, and difficulty settings can be adjusted. The world is presented in a dark, gothic fantasy art style with an accompanying orchestral-style soundtrack.
