Medieval Crafter: Blacksmith

Medieval Crafter: Blacksmith casts the player as a dwarven blacksmith running a forge. Customers visit each day with requests, such as a plain blade, a steel chestplate or an enchanted sword. Finished items can be displayed on racks in the shop, and the player sets their own prices. Seasonal festivals bring new customers and special rewards during the year.

Crafting begins with ore. The player mines deep beneath the mountains to reach rarer ores, smelts them, and forges items ranging from plain iron to dwarven steel. Weapons and armour are made by hitting the mark with each hammer strike. An elf named Elara, found in the elven ruins, teaches enchanting, which adds magical properties and elemental affinities to gear. Enchanted items unlock higher-tier orders. Materials can also be swapped at the docks for ones the player needs.

The player can hire goblin workers to mine, smelt, craft and run workstations, and can expand the crew and upgrade the stations over time. Heroes recruited at the tavern can be equipped with the player’s gear and sent into dungeons, returning with gold, rare materials and high-tier items. Better equipment improves what they bring back. Heroes can also be sent into real-time arena battles, where the player triggers their skills and earns gold for victories. Further upgrades cover workstations, machinery and the forge, along with shop decoration and expansion of the player’s home in the village. Play can be fast-paced or relaxed.
