Monster Mop Up

Monster Mop Up is a cleaning and rescue simulator set within the Ministry of Monster Concealment. Players take the role of a newly appointed Custodian, who cleans a range of locations and helps return fluffy creatures known as Ragamuffins, which have become lost in the human world. Locations range from tiny homes to banquet halls and medieval hotels, and each is to be restored by exploring, cleaning and disposing of mess.

The core activities are cleaning, searching and rescuing. Ragamuffins are hidden in unexpected places and must be found and caught. They leave behind various messes, each with its own unique abilities, and handling the creatures poorly results in more mess to deal with. Waste can be disposed of by burning or flushing it away. Players can buy equipment upgrades from a shop in their home, and further upgrades can be found as hidden pickups during missions.

The player’s home can be expanded, and more than 150 furniture and decorative items are available to decorate it. Collected Ragamuffins are recorded in a Monsteropedia, which lists details such as each creature’s name, age and interests. The developer names PowerWash Simulator, House Flipper and Viscera Cleanup Detail among the games that inspired it.
