Nahualli

Nahualli is a multiplayer prop hunt game set in a Mexican mercado. Players on the hiding side disguise themselves as objects found around the market, such as piñatas, flower pots, cuts of meat and bowls of salsa, while the opposing team searches the stalls and aisles to find them. Matches support between two and eight players.

Each round is divided into two phases. The first plays as a conventional prop hunt, with hiders attempting to remain undetected until the timer expires. Any Nahualli players still alive at that point do not simply win the round. Instead, they transform into large werewolf-like creatures called Nahuals, and the roles reverse: the hunters must then try to survive in the same market space. The premise draws on Mesoamerican folklore about shape-shifters who live among people in disguise.

The game launches in Early Access with a single mercado map featuring areas such as flower stalls, butcher shops, fruit stands and taco restaurants, each containing a range of props to hide as. The developer has stated plans to add four further maps with new environments and props, additional cosmetics, balance changes informed by the community and quality of life improvements based on player feedback during the Early Access period.
