Neko Neko Shop

Neko Neko Shop is a single-player organising game set in a small shop that sells lucky cat (neko) collectibles. The store begins in a state of disarray, with items scattered across the premises, and the player is tasked with picking them up, working out where each one belongs and placing them on the correct displays. The shop is run by a family business whose owners, according to the developer’s description, are focused on keeping shelves stocked and accounts in order while leaving certain questions unanswered.

The core loop involves exploring the shop, collecting misplaced nekos and restocking displays until each area is complete. As the player progresses, empty displays fill up and piles of stray items are cleared. There are no time limits or failure conditions, so the pace of play is left entirely to the player.

The game includes a skill upgrade system that allows the player to carry more items at once, move more quickly, locate missing nekos more easily and tidy the shop more efficiently. Neko Neko Shop has now left development and is released on Steam, where it currently holds a Positive user review rating.
