Ninja Cards and Ninja Battle Master
Ninja Cards and Ninja Battle Master offers two separate modes. The first, Ninja Card Master, is a card game in which the player competes against opponents to earn points using five attribute card types that restrain one another: Thunder Magnet, Water Ice, Wind Hurricane, Flame Melt and Gold Bullet. Each type has Level 1 and Level 2 cards. Restraining an opponent’s card awards high points, being restrained awards low points, and a neutral match-up awards regular points. A set of support cards is also available, including Flower, Void, Curse, Stone, Illusion, Nothingness, Heart and Sound, again in Level 1 and Level 2 versions.
In this mode, each exchange where both sides play a card counts as a small round, and eight small rounds form a big round. Final settlement takes place at the eleventh big round, with the side holding the highest HP taking one win. Three wins on a floor cause that floor’s clearance gate to appear. There is no time limit, and the mode is presented with ambient music and backgrounds.
The second mode, Ninja Battle Master, has the player use ninjutsu to defeat monsters on each floor, unlocking a new ninjutsu after every floor cleared. Controls are described as simple and the player can freely choose which ninjutsu to use. The Easy difficulty provides twelve Level 1 escape ninjutsu (Thunder, Gold, Void, Flame, Illusion, Grass, Water, Wind, Curse, Stone, Sound and Heart), while the Special difficulty provides twelve Level 2 escape ninjutsu (Magnet, Bullet, Void, Melt, Illusion 2, Flower, Ice, Qi, Nether, Ghost, Music and Heart). Clearing Easy and then attempting Special grants two additional Level 2 secret ninjutsu, Nothingness and Hurricane.
