BTR Ringfall

BTR Ringfall is a lane-based tower defence strategy game. Players assemble a squad and place operatives across five battle lanes to stop successive enemy waves from reaching the Ring. Battles are wave-based and require attention to positioning and timing.

There are seven operatives, each tied to an element: Ice, Time, Portal, Lightning, Telekinesis, Darkness and Fire. Players select operatives to counter specific threats, manage a resource called Ring Energy, and use special abilities and ultimate powers during combat. Pairs of compatible operatives can be combined to trigger elemental reactions, each with its own visual effects and impact on the battlefield. The squad can be upgraded through separate Attack and Defence skill trees.

The game includes a story-driven campaign set across several locations and featuring different enemy factions, as well as an Endless mode in which players hold out for as long as possible. It supports both mouse and keyboard and controller input.
