Orebits

Orebits is a futuristic mining incremental game in which players break apart asteroids to extract resources. Mining is carried out with a bouncing pickaxe, referred to in the game as the Clickaxe, alongside a laser and other pieces of mining gear that can be unlocked over time. Resources gathered during a run are delivered back to Earth, where they are converted into permanent research points.

The game features multiple mining sites, each containing its own gravitational anomalies and rare artefacts. Before setting out on a mission, players can hire help to multiply the resources they collect and to dig further into an asteroid. Progression involves unlocking new gear, investing in upgrades and discovering rare skills, with a roguelite tech tree that lets players choose which synergies to pursue.

As upgrades accumulate, players are able to clear extraction points more quickly and destroy obstacles in a single hit. The game was developed by a two-person team.
