Parry Survivor

Parry Survivor is a fast-paced action game set in a surreal battleground called the Kun-Domain. The player controls an anime heroine who faces an endless, infinitely spawning horde of enemies known as Kuns. The waves grow progressively more difficult, and the aim is to hold out for as long as possible.

Combat is built around deflecting rather than attacking freely. Each incoming attack must be met with a correctly timed parry, which the developer compares to the deflect system in Sekiro. Successful parries break an enemy’s posture, and once a Kun’s guard has been fully shattered the player can trigger an execution move. These finishers are presented with dynamic camera angles and visual effects.

Defeated enemies drop resources, which can be spent in a shop that becomes available between waves. Purchases include permanent damage boosts and new weapons, with the latter altering both the character’s appearance and how effectively she fights.
