Peekablock

Peekablock is a multiplayer hide-and-seek party game built around player-made disguises. Players taking the Hider role combine simple shapes, adjust their size and rotation, and paint each piece to create a disguise. This can be a copy of an object already present in the map or something entirely new. Once disguised, Hiders position themselves in the level, adopt a pose and can climb into less obvious hiding spots.

The Hunter’s task is to examine the scene, work out which objects are out of place and catch every Hider before the round timer expires. Hiders who are caught become Ghosts and can continue to take part by interfering with the remaining Hiders or distracting the Hunter. The same building tools are also used to create weapons and custom looks for Hunters, so both sides of a round can be customised by the players.

After each hunt, the game shows every hiding spot used along with the Hunter’s custom appearance and weapon, and players can vote for the Hiders and Hunters they liked. The developer has stated that further features are planned, including the ability to build maps, create new hider models and poses, design additional Hunter looks and weapons, and share and download these creations through the Steam Workshop. At the time of writing the game has two user reviews on Steam.
