PLUG IN
PLUG IN is a sokoban-style puzzle game set inside a series of test chambers. Each chamber contains a containment subject, referred to as an anomaly, and the player is tasked with reading its experiment log and moving it safely through the room. The game uses a grid layout and is controlled with four directional inputs only, with no extended tutorial sequence before play begins.
The core mechanic follows traditional sokoban rules: heavy crates are pushed across the grid one square at a time. Crates are positioned to block defensive weapons within the chamber, opening a route along which the subject can advance. Once a path has been established, the subject must be guided to touch both a plug and a socket placed elsewhere in the room. Aligning and connecting these two objects completes the experiment and opens the next sector.
The game includes 46 levels arranged in a rising difficulty curve, beginning with basic route planning and moving on to more involved puzzles in the later stages. The presentation is minimalist, and the developer describes the intended focus as logical thinking and spatial awareness.
