Pool Shark

Pool Shark adapts 8-ball pool into a roguelike structure. The story is set over a single night, in which the player’s best friend owes $12,500 to the wrong people. The player works through six rooms of money matches against increasingly tough opponents as the stakes rise, with the aim of settling the debt.

On the table, players can use spin, banks and combos to clear their balls. Between matches, they assemble a kit from cards, chalk, ball upgrades and cues, each of which alters how the player plays and scores. Matches can also include side bets, pocket jackpots and special rules set by the house. Each run offers a different way to build the player’s character.

The solo campaign features 18 opponents and multiple endings. An online 1v1 mode lets players challenge a friend or compete on a ranked ladder. Cosmetic items are unlocked through play. The game supports mouse and keyboard or gamepad controls. It is free to play, with no ads or paywall, and all wagers use fictional in-game money.
