Ratten Reich

Ratten Reich is a real-time strategy game set in a fictional steampunk and dieselpunk world where societies of rats, mice, cockroaches, and lizards wage constant war. The game is currently in early access and features four playable factions: RR (rats), FMR (mice), ERS (lizards), and RD (monitor lizards), each with its own distinct infantry arsenal and unit designs.

Combat takes place across three continents, each with different terrain and tactical challenges. The Central Continent features swampy, trench-covered ground that hinders troop movement, the Eastern Continent is defended by fortified military bases, and the desert continent introduces sandstorms and dunes that reduce visibility. Many buildings within these environments are destructible, allowing players to use cover and terrain destruction as part of their tactical approach when planning assaults.

Units in the game are represented by cards containing information intended to help players manage them during battles. The game includes elements of dismemberment and blood. A comic book set in the Ratten Reich universe is included alongside the game, accessible through an extra content folder.
