Retrowave Highway is a driving game in which players cruise through neon-lit night streets in customisable 1980s-style cars, dodging traffic across four game modes and three scenarios.

Retrowave Highway is a driving game set on an endless neon-lit highway at night, styled after the 1980s. Players take control of one of more than ten vehicles and weave through traffic while a retrowave soundtrack plays from the in-game jukebox. The game is built around late-night driving through glowing city streets, with the emphasis placed on avoiding other cars and maintaining speed.

The game includes four modes: One Way Highway, Two Way Highway, Time Attack and Speed Bomb. These are played across three scenarios. Players chase scores and practise manoeuvres as they drive, with the core loop centred on dodging traffic at high speed along a road that does not end.

Vehicles can be customised in several ways, including paint jobs, neon lighting and spoilers. The retrowave music is presented as a central part of the experience, with players able to choose the track that accompanies each drive.
