Reus 2 – Jurassic

Reus 2 – Jurassic is a downloadable expansion for Reus 2 with a prehistoric theme. Its main addition is the Mesozoic Wilds, a new biome that switches between three distinct modes depending on which biotica are placed there. Each mode offers its own synergies and alters how the biome behaves. The biome is described as a variation of Atlas the Rock Giant.

The expansion includes more than 50 new biotica and four additional leaders. The Path of the Bushido gives greater rewards as the world becomes more dangerous. The Senior gives two-star Apex biotica large bonuses to all stats, while three-star Apex biotica carry a heavy cost. The Paleontologist uses unique Ancient biotica to boost minerals across the planet. The fourth leader is the Bon Vivant.

Three new eras are also added. Ancient Forest and Epic Sculptors are both set in Era 1. Ancient Forest focuses on restoring forests of old, while Epic Sculptors centres on giving people the means to improve their art. Armageddon is set in Era 3 and has the player guiding their people against an approaching end within a limited time.
