Sad Virus Ruined Land

Sad Virus Ruined Land is a third-person walking simulation game and a further instalment in the Sad Virus series. The player controls the Sad Virus character, whose objective is to locate nine beer bottles hidden throughout a ruined, dystopian-styled world. Collecting all nine bottles is presented as the way to make Sad Virus happy again.

The environment contains a range of hazards, including spikes, moving balls and moving spike platforms. This entry also introduces lava, which kills Sad Virus instantly on contact. To help navigate the level, the game provides checkpoints for respawning and launchpads for reaching different areas while searching for the hidden bottles.

Each of the nine beer bottles is tied to a Steam achievement, so collecting them all unlocks the full set. The game is set in a single dystopian ruined-world theme.
