Screw IT

Screw IT is a workbench organising simulator. The premise is that a parcel has arrived containing 777 loose nails and a single screw, all tipped into one box. The nails vary in size and condition, and the task is to work through the pile at a quiet workbench, sorting each nail into its correct place and locating the one screw among them.

Nails fall into five categories: normal, bent, rusty, bent-rusty and broken. The player picks up each nail, checks its size against a scale, identifies its type and uses different tools to repair bent, rusty and broken ones where possible. Each nail is then placed into the appropriate storage box. The description refers to 17 storage boxes in one place and 16 in another, with a dedicated box for broken nails.

The game offers two modes. Cozy Mode lets the player progress at their own pace, unlocks tools gradually and provides hints when a nail is put in the wrong box. Timer Mode makes all tools available from the start and challenges the player to sort as quickly as possible, with no hints given for mistakes.
