Piano Warrior

Piano Warrior is a music game developed by a third-party studio and is now released. Players assemble a song from a library of 700 musical building blocks, drawing on 141 melodic instruments, sound effects and drum kits. Compositions can be combined, remixed and refined, and players can also record their own voice over the top of a track.

The game includes a battle element in which the player selects an opponent and taps tiles in time. Winning these encounters grants additional building blocks across seven genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Electronic and Folk.

Finished compositions can be exported as audio or video for sharing. The video export feature depends on Windows’ built-in media technologies. On Windows N or KN editions, which are common in some European and Korean installations, the free Media Feature Pack from Microsoft may need to be installed first, either through Windows Settings under Optional Features or directly from Microsoft’s website. If Windows Media Player opens on the system, the required components are already present.
