Piano Warrior

Piano Warrior combines song composition with tile-tapping battles. Players assemble songs from a library of 700 musical building blocks, drawing on 141 melodic instruments, sound effects and drum kits. Compositions can be combined, remixed and refined, and there is an option to record the player’s own voice over the track.

Once a song has been made, it can be taken into battle. The player selects an opponent and taps tiles to compete, with victories unlocking further building blocks. The available material spans the Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Electronic and Folk genres.

Finished compositions can be exported as audio or video files for sharing. The video export function depends on Windows’ built-in media components. Most Windows installations already include these, but users of Windows N or KN editions, which are common in some European and Korean installs, may first need to install Microsoft’s free Media Feature Pack via Settings, Optional Features, or from Microsoft’s website. The developer suggests checking whether Windows Media Player opens as a quick test.
