Poly Peacocks
Poly Peacocks is an online party game for two to sixteen players, developed by a third party, in which each player builds an outfit from geometric shapes based on a secret prompt within a time limit. Players stack cubes, cones, stars and shards onto a mannequin, then move, rotate, scale and recolour each piece and fasten it to a body part. The mannequin’s body proportions can also be stretched, and each look must be named before the timer ends. Outfits remain hidden from other players until the runway reveal.
Once building ends, each player selects a pose, a strut and an entrance and walks the catwalk alone while the rest of the lobby watches. Every player walks once and judges once, rating each mannequin by secret ballot in the closing seconds of its walk. The player with the highest average rating is named the Peacock of the Show. Players can record their own footsteps, poses and shouts in a lobby mic booth to serve as their mannequin’s sound effects, and proximity voice chat is included. The lobby votes between three show themes: Serious Fashion on a neon marble runway, Funky Chaos under a circus big top, and Wildcard in a junkyard.
The host can set the design clock, walk timer and lobby size, and enable a Swap Dress option that has players walk in someone else’s outfit. Lobby activities include a disco floor and a backstage tug-of-war rope, and players can design a personal outfit in the main menu to wear in the lobby. The game supports saving a polaroid of the winner and exporting a clip from the match. Matches can be joined through Quick Play or by sharing a private lobby code, and spectators are supported.
