Hoodie Havoc
Hoodie Havoc is a multiplayer party brawler developed for up to eight players. Matches are built around physics-based movement, with players slipping, grabbing and throwing one another in rounds that last roughly two minutes. The aim in each round is to be the last player standing. The developer describes the game as having a light learning curve, with new players able to pick up the basics quickly.
Each map contains a range of interactive elements, and players are encouraged to use the terrain to reach advantageous positions and to time their movements to collect items. Rounds also feature unpredictable gimmicks and supply drops, such as zero-gravity moments and incoming cannon fire, which players can either exploit or avoid. The game includes 152 different weapons across melee, ranged and explosive categories, some of which carry special effects such as electrocuting opponents or manipulating gravity. Weapons spawn differently each match, producing varied combinations from round to round.
Elimination does not remove a player from the action entirely. Knocked-out players return in a ghost state and can continue to interfere with the remaining competitors, giving them a way to influence the outcome of the round after being taken out.
