Shiba Sweet

Shiba Sweet is a cooking and shop game in which the player helps a shiba progress from a beginner to a professional chef. As the chef’s skill level rises, additional dessert recipes become available. The desserts are shaped like shibas. One example is the Shiba Riceball, made by kneading glutinous rice flour into dough, boiling it until it floats, cooling it and adding a sugar-soy sauce.

Gameplay centres on preparing ingredients, making desserts and serving a queue of customers within a time limit. The player must place the correct desserts into bento boxes and sell them. Money earned from sales is spent on ingredients, kitchen utensils, decorations for the kitchen and shop, and aprons for the shiba chef.

The game also includes a story element involving the chef’s grandmother, who enjoys travelling. She sends the player postcards during her journeys, and these can be collected.
