You're the new taxi driver on a haunted night shift through rural Japan. Keep your eyes on the road, and your ears on the back seat.

Silent Road puts you behind the wheel as a taxi driver working the night shift in a remote Japanese region with a dark history of suicides. You’ll be driving passengers between isolated villages along quiet forest roads, and honestly, the quiet is the worst part. Something always feels off, whether it’s what’s outside the windscreen or who’s sat behind you.

Every passenger you pick up brings their own strange story, and things tend to get weirder the longer the night goes on. Some of them will ask you to step out of the taxi and help with small tasks. They sound harmless enough, but we wouldn’t trust any of them.

It’s slow-burn horror built on atmosphere and dread rather than jump scares, with the isolation of the setting doing a lot of the heavy lifting. If you like your horror rooted in local folklore and the sense that something terrible happened here long before you showed up, this one’s worth a look.
