Slash-Out: Fantasy Dueling

Slash-Out: Fantasy Dueling is a twin-stick fighting game set in a fantasy kingdom threatened by an ancient evil. The player takes up a sword and shield and travels across the land to defeat the foes who stand in the way. The game is structured as a gauntlet of boss battles, with duel after duel against a group of fantasy opponents and no filler encounters between them.

The controls are split between the two sticks. The Left Stick moves the shield to block enemy attacks, and blocking enough of them creates an opening for the player to counterattack. The Right Stick controls the sword: flicking it performs a slash, and the direction of the flick sets the angle of the attack. Attacks can be chained in patterns to perform combos that deal extra damage.

Each boss has its own strategies and tricks, so the player has to adapt to every opponent. The developer states that no AI was used in making the game.
