Slay The King

Slay The King is an action strategy game set in ancient lands that have been seized by a corrupt king. The player’s aim is to build up settlements of warriors, hold them against the king’s troops and, once ready, launch an attack of their own to defeat the king in battle.

Resource gathering forms part of the core loop, with wood and stone collected to construct settlements. Defences such as catapults, traps and towers can be built to protect these settlements from attack. Warriors can be equipped with a range of weapons, including axes, bows, spears and shields, and troops are commanded directly in combat using RTS-style controls.

The game features fully destructible environments and is structured as a series of levels, each of which is designed around tactical play and strategic decision making.
