Who Haunts The Haunters? is a multiplayer social deduction game set in an East Asian-inspired occult mansion, where Ghosts try to expose hidden Intruders using environmental clues and traces.

Who Haunts The Haunters? is a social deduction game from an independent developer, set in an occult mansion with an East Asian-inspired design. Players are divided into Ghosts and Intruders. Ghosts complete missions and purify corrupted mission objects and offering tables to raise a shared Spiritual Stability meter to 100%. Intruders work against them by corrupting missions and offering tables, using a Vanish ability on Ghosts, and pushing Spiritual Stability down to 0%, which triggers an end phase called the Ahgwi Night Hunt.

Rather than relying solely on player behaviour, the game uses environmental cues to signal suspicion. Whenever an Intruder uses Curse or Vanish, or corrupts an object, their Taint level rises. Effects such as ringing in the ears, gusts of wind, animal cries, flickering candles, distorted shadows and whispers indicate that a high-Taint player is nearby. Purifying a corrupted object also leaves a temporary trace, and investigating it opens a Trace Report Meeting. During these meetings, players vote to designate a Watch Target; any interactions with mission objects or use of suspicious powers by that player are logged in a Watch Record and revealed at the following meeting.

Accusations are made through a Judgment Ritual, which Ghosts can start once the required conditions are met. A correct accusation eliminates the Intruder, but if an innocent Ghost is accused or the vote is inconclusive, the player who initiated the ritual is eliminated instead. If only one Ghost and one Intruder remain, the Ghost can offer three ritual materials at the altar to begin a Final Purification Ritual, which gradually restores Spiritual Stability while they attempt to survive. During the Ahgwi Night Hunt, missions and meetings are disabled and remaining Ghosts must hide or flee until the hunt ends. The game requires a minimum of three players, with five recommended.
